Testamentum Henrici Allingham de Newton Brownsold

In the name of god amen I Henrie Allingham of
Newton Brownsold in the cou[n]tie of Northampton husbandman
sicke and weake of bodie but whole and sounde of mynde and
p[er]fecte of memorie thankes be to god, doe make this my laste
will and testament the xiij th day of March in the two
and thirtie yeare of the raigne of our soveraigne Ladie
Elizabeth Queene of England , Frannce and Ireland Defender
of the faith & c. In manner and forme following, firste
I give and bequeathe my soule to almightie god that gave it
hoping and assuredlie belevinge to be saved through the merits
and passione of Christ Jesus my onlie saviour and redeemer and
my bodie to be buried in the church or church yearde accordinge
to the discrecion of my executors. And as for my worldlie
goods with which god hath blessed me I geve and bequeath in manner
and forme following, first I geve and bequeath to Michaell
Allingham the eldest sonn of John Allingham my sonne my best
shood carte, my three year old horse. Item I geve and bequeath
to Henrie Allingham my godson the second sonne of John Alingham
my son my red tow yeare old heifer xx s and one ew and a lamb
Item I geve and bequeath to Elizabeth Beare a blacke two yeare
old heifor and a ew and a lamb. Item I geve and bequeath to
Gabriell Allingham the third sonn of John Alingham my sonn
a ew and a lamb and a lamb hog. Item I geve and
bequeath to Luke Allingham the fourth sonn of John Allingham
my sonn a lamb hog. Item I geave and bequeath to Alce Allingham
daughter to John Allingham my sonn a lamb hog. Item I geve
and bequeath to Nicolas Wm Pasheller sonn of Thomas
Pasheller a weaning calfe. Item I geve and bequeath to Alice
Pasheller daughter of the sayde Thomas a ewe and a lamb
Item I geve and bequeath to the rest of the children of the
saide Thomas beinge in nu[m]ber six everie one a sheepe
Item I geve and bequeath to Nicholas Johnsonn my servant
a lamb at sheare day. Item I geve and bequeath towards
the mendinge of the causey within the towne of Newton where
I dwell iij s iiij d Item I geve and bequeath to Henry
Negoose my Godsonn sonn of Henry Negoose a lambe
Item I geve and bequeath to Simon Pare vj s viij d
whom I appoynted overseer of this my last will and
testamente. And the rest of my goods and chattel whatsoever
unbequeathed my debts being paide and my funeral
discharged I geve and bequeath to Alice Allingham
my wiffe and to John Allingham my sonn whom I make
and ordayne my execturors of this my last will & testament.
