William Whitick - will c1700

In the name of God Amen I William Whitak of Newton Bromshold in the county of Northampton being in ill state health but of perfect memory:  do make this my last [will] and Testament in maner following Imprimis I give my body to the ground decently to be interred: Item I give my soul in to the hand amercyfull god and to Jesus Christ my Redeemer and for my worly goods I do bestow as follows 1st I give and bequeath unto my Brother Edward Whitwick of Oundle all my wearing Apparel and fifty shillings of current money to be paid to him one year after my decease It: I give unto Elizabeth Whitwick daughter of John Whitwick of Hinwick one shilling: It I give and bequeath unto my loving wife and to her heirs for ever that house wherein I now dwell together with ye outhouse close and arable land which I lately purchased of Edward Trot of Odehill Clark towards making up ye two hundred pounds I settled upon her before my inter marradge whith her if I do not happen to sell of other despose of it in my life time It: all my other goods and chattels and undeposed of in thise present I do give and bequeath unto my loving wife whom I do make my sole executrix of this my last Will and Testament signed, sealed delivered and published in the presence of

On the outer:
Memorandum the within named testator dyed about Christmas 1699 and made his will about a year before, and that he had lived at Tillbrook within the Archdeaconry of Bedford about six months before his death witness my hand the 1st of June 1700
