In The Name of God Amen This is the last Will and Testament of me Henry Reeve of Newton Bromshold in the County of Northampton Farmer. In the first place (after humbly recommending my Soul into the hands of Allmighty God my Creator and leaving my Body to the Earth to be decently buried) I do revoke and make void All former Wills by me at any time heretofore made And I do hereby give and bequeath unto my Grandson Edward Smith and to my two Grand Daughters Susanna Smith and Mary Smith to each of them the Sum of Fifty pounds to be paid to them respectively when they shall attain the full Age of one and twenty Years And I do direct and appoint that interest after the rate of Five pounds per Centum per Annum shall be paid and allowed to my Grand Daughter Mary Smith or for her maintenance and benefit from the time of my death till the legacy of Fifty pounds so to her bequeathed shall become payable And I do further direct and appoint that in case any of my Grandchildren named in this my Will shall happen to die under the Age of One and Twenty Years then and in such Case the Legacy share Estate or interest of him her or them so dying shall go to and be equally divided amongst the Survivors or Survivor of Them Item all the rest residue and remainder of my Goods chattels and personal Estate of what nature or kind soever after payment of the several Legacies above specified I do give and bequeath unto my Grandson John Smith who I do nominate constitute and appoint the sole Executor of this my Will And Lastly I do constitute and appoint my Son in law Edward Smith and my Friend Bass Abbot of Newton Bromshold together to be Guardians and Trustees for all and every of my said Grandchildren during their minority In Witness whereof I have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand and Seal this Twenty Sixth day of April in the Year of our Lord One Thousand seven hundred and fifty four.
