William Kerby - Will 1822


In the Name of God Amen I William Kerby of the parish of Newton Bromshold in the County of Northampton Wheeler and Carpenter being of sound Mind memory and understanding Thanks be to God for the same do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in form and manner following. That is to say I desire that my Just debts and funeral expences may be paid out of my personal property by my Executor hereinafter named The residue and remainder of my personal property of every kind whether it consist of Goods, Chattels, Timber, wrought and unwrought, Tools of all sorts, Cash, Bills, Bonds, Notes, Wearing Apparel, several stocks or hives of Bees, in short the whole of my property of every sort and in every place, wherever it may [be] found at the time of my decease I give the whole thereof to William Twelltree and to Mary his wife to be possessed by them, without any molestation or hindrance from any other person whatsoever And I appoint and nominate the said William Twelltree of Newton Bromswold aforesaid whole and sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby utterly revoking all other wills by me heretofore made and declaring this to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this Thirtieth day of August in the Year of our Lord One Thousand eight Hundred and twenty two.                                                                            William Kerby
