In the name of God Amen I Robert Huett of Newton Brownshold sike in body but of perfecte remembrance thankes be unto god do make this my last will and Testament in manner and forme following the vj day of aparell in the yere [of] Our Lord god 1563
First [I] bequethe my soule unto almightie God and body to be buryed in the church yard of the said towne of Newton Bromshold
Item I bequethe [Thieffe onely] howse with all other my Lands and tenements thereto belonginge sett lieing and being within the towne aforesaid to my sonne Edmond and his heires fore ever imediatelie and next after the decease of me the said Robert Huett and Alice my wife yelding and paieing to my sonne Antonye thirteen pounds syxe shilings and eight pence in redy mony towards his setting uppon his occupation
Item I bequeth to my sonne John Huett house at Sheiford being ane Inne the signe of the Lambe with all my lands and tenements [adjoining] all other the [ap]purtenances therto belonging & within the said towne of Sheiford forsaid within the countie of Bedford yelding and paieing to my son Anthonye twelff pounds out of the said howse and lands within Sheiford (Shefford)
Item I do bequethe to my sonne John 5£.vjs.viijd. [£5.6s.8d.]or ells xx shipe to the value
Item I do bequeth to my said sonne John coouple of stere of two year old
Item I do bequeth to my sonne Anthony tene pounds to be receved of William Pretye Lynen draper of Wellingborough in the county of Northampton his master at the comying out of his prenteshippe
Item I do bequeth to my daughter Rose too cowe with too calves weyned
Item I do bequeth to my daughter Rose iiij shepe
Item I will that yf it happen that my sonne Anthony chance to dye thussaid and before his comying fourth of his prentishippe that then my said legacies to be distributed amongest and between all other his bretherne and sisters to be equally devided I will
that Thomas Cappe have twentie shillings

Item to Thomas Cappe one quarter of old peison
Item I do bequethe to the church of Lincoln iiijd
Item I do bequethe for the reparations of the bells within the parish church of Newnton Brownshold afore named iijs iiijd
Item I do bequeth for the mending of the cawsey that goethe throught the said towne of Newton Brownshold iijs iiijd
Item I do bequeath for the mending of the lane that goethe by the parsonages xxd
Item I will that Ales Hewet shalbe my hole executrix to execute and performe all This my last will and Testament and allso I do co[n]stitute and ordaine Edmond Huett my sonne and Thomas Cashe my son in law to be my Supervisors of this my last will and Testament aforesaid.
