I Edmund Hewett of Newton Bromeswold in the countie of Northamton yeoman being of good and perfect mynde and memorye doe make and ordeine this my laste will & testamente in manner and forme followinge:
Firste I give & bequeathe my soule to Almightie God & my bodye to be buryed in the churchyard of Newton aforesaid
Item I give to Henry Bucherler an acre of wheat growinge in West furlonge
Item I give and bequeathe to my daughter Elizabeth halfe my haye & eleven pounds seven shillings six pence all the whyte corne which ys at John Foxes the blacke cowe with the starr in the head the redd Bullocke the bacon hogge that I killed firste and the lesser pigge viij sheep the trusse bed in the lofte and one stocke of bees
Item I give to Margrett my daughter all the pease which be at John Foxes the trusse bed in the parlor the table and the forme & the settle Tenn pound at the daie of her marryage and tenn pounds foure yeares after or money worthe
Item I give to Jone Old a cheare and one stock of bees
Item I give to Edmund Hewet of Higham Ferres one stocke of bees
Item I give to Edmund Hewett the sonn of John Hewett one sherehogge
Item I give unto Francys Foxe and daughter unto John Foxe one stocke of bees
Item I give unto Alice my daughter one bushell of wheate
Item I give to Edmund Hewet the sonne of Robert Hewett one swarme of bees
Item I will and bequeath unto my sonne Robert Hewet the querne after his mothers decease and also iijs iiijd
Item I will and give my daughter Jone one bushell of pease
Item I give unto my wyfe the three horses for her use
Item I give to the poore of the towne whichu be doble one bushell of barlie
Item I give unto the rest which be single howse half a bushell apeece
Item I will & give unto [Ric] Grant his wenche a Lambe
Item I will and give unto Anthonie Old some apparell
Item I give unto my daughter Katheryne one bushell of barlie and ech of her children a bushell of barlye
Item I will and give unto my brother Anthonye my best fryze coate or my cloake chuse him which The rest of my goods moveable and unmoveable my debts paid my legacies performed and my body decently brought to the grownd I give and bequeathe to Dorothie my wyfe whom I make my full & sole Executrix of this my last will and Testament Theise being witnesses John Foxe John Hewett
