Thomas Bletsoe - Will 1741


In The Name of God Amen I Thomas Bletsoe Clerk Rector of Newton Bromshold in the County of Northampton Do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament revoking all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made Imprimis I give and devise all my real Estate Lands Tenements and Hereditaments whatsoever and wheresoever unto my Son Thomas Bletsoe and to his heirs for Ever. Item I give and bequeath unto my said Son all ye Rents of my Estate due for the last half year before my decease and also all my Plate excepting such as was given to my Wife by the Will of her Aunt Mrs Mary Deacon And I also give and bequeath to my said Son my Watch with all my Books and the Furniture of my Lodging Room. Item I give to my Daughter Mary the Gold Watch and Chain which Chain was her Mothers Lastly as to all the rest and residue of my goods Chattels personal Estate and Effects not herein before particularly mentioned and bequeathed I do give and bequeath the same unto my two Daughters Mary and Elizabeth whom I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint joint Executrixes of this my Will. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this twenty second day of March in the year of our Lord One Thousand seven Hundred and Thirty nine.
