Thomas Ekins - Will 1725

This is the last Will and Testament of me Thomas Ekins of Chelveston cum Caldecott in the County of Northampton yeoman and I do hereby revoke disannul and make void all former and other Wills by me made and as to the real and personal Estate that it hath pleased Almighty God to bestow upon me I Give and Dispose of the same in manner and forme following (that is to say) Imprimis I Give and bequeath unto my son Colyor Ekins one Twelve Foot of Meadow ground lying in Raunds Great Meadow & now in the occupation of Richard Rawlings to him and his heirs and assigns for ever Item all my Crop of Graine now growing upon the ground and Goods in my house and all other my personall whatsoever I desire shall be sold by my Executors hereinafter mentioned and the money put into their hands in trust for my Children hereinafter mentioned Item after all my Debts Legacys and Funeral Charges are paid then I Give and bequeath unto my son Colyor Ekins one halfe of the money that shall be raised out of my personall Estate to be paid by my Trustees hereafter mentioned within six months after my Decease Item the other moiety or halfe part of the money that shall be raised out of my personall Estate I give and bequeath unto my two daughters Ann and Hannah to be paid to them by my Trustees hereafter mentioned within twelve month after my decease to be equally divided between them Item I doe hereby nominate Constitute and appoint Henry Richards of Raunds in the County of Northton Gent and William Brittain of Chelveston cum Caldecott aforesaid yeoman to be Executors in Trust of this my last Will and Testament They paying my said Bills Legacys and Funerall Charges and the remainder of the money to be paid as I have hereinbefore directed In Witness whereof I the said Thomas Ekins have to this my last Will and Testament sett my hand & Seal this Fifth day of July in the yeare of our Lord one Thousand Seven Hundred Twenty and Five
