Test[amentum] Brown de Chelveston alias Chelston

In the name of god Amen
The vij daie of Januarij 1593 I Robert Browne of Chelveston
al[ia]s Chelston in the countie of North[amp]ton sheepheard being
sicke in bodie but of good and p[er]fect memorie thanks be to
almightie god doe make and ordeine this my last will and
testament in maner and forme followinge First I bequeath
my soule to allmightie god and my bodie to be buried in the
church yeard of Chelston Item I give and bequeath to Elizabeth
Browne my daughter xiij s iiij d to be paid to her to her use
at Lammas day next after my deceass and if it shall please
god to take away my said daughter before she doth com
to the age of eyghteene yeares then I will that her stock shall
be devided equally betweene John Leetis Anthonie Letis
Margerie Letis the children of my wief Item I give and bequeath
unto Joane Browne my wief my lease and all the right that
I have in yt in Chelston or heareafter (au)ght for to have
and if it shall please god to take away my wief before my
yeares of my yearely lease be expired then I will that
Elizabeth my daughter shall have it and if yt shall please
god to take awaye my daughter before my yeares be expired
then I will that Anthonie Leetis my sonn in law to have it
and ye residue of my goodes  unbequeathed my debts paid &
my legacies p[er]formed I give and bequeath to Joane Brown
my wief whome I make my shole executrix and Robert Hall(od)
and Henrie Boulton my sup[er]visors thes beinge witnesses
