Mr F J Sharwood, of Rushden, has presented to the Chelveston Baptist Chapel a handsomely bound hymn book for use in the pulpit.
Presentation – The members of the Baptist Church and congregation have presented to Miss Nellie Ward a silver teapot, suitably inscribed, in recognition of her nine years’ services as organist. The gift was handed to Miss Ward by Mr J T Colson, and Miss Ward, in acknowledging the presentation, expressed her regret that Circumstances had compelled her to resign the position of organist.
