Village Hall events

The Rushden Echo & Argus, 31st July 1931, transcribed by Peter Brown

CHELVESTON VILLAGE HALL—The ground which was purchased by Chelveston several years ago from the County Council is at last being made use of. The village has collected £200 and thinks that it is time for them to begin the work on the Village Hall that they have been working for so long. Those in charge of the arrangements are Mr. E. Lack, chairman of the Committee, Mr. E Mayes secretary, and Mrs. Holyoak, assistant secretary.
