1995 reunion
Gill Rawlins (nee Eady) tells us that Gillian Dunnett, Clifford Saddington, Tony Dunnett and Patrick Taylor didn't attend the reunion. Jill Bridge who was absent on the original photo stands between her sister Jennifer and Gill Rawlins in the reunion photograph.
The Villager, 6th October 1995

A SCHOOL reunion was held at Chelveston Village School, bringing together classmates from the 1940's. The reunion was triggered by a photograph taken in 1947, of Chelveston school children standing outside the school, and was the brainchild of Mr Richard Burton and Mr Noel Morris. Former pupils were traced all over the country from Lincoln to Devon, with one even being found in Australia.

The cake

Mrs Isobel Atkins made a celebration cake, depicting a book with the school shown on the open page. The event was sponsored by another former pupil Mr Horace Eady, and the catering was done by Mrs Janet Morris, Mrs Doreen Eady and Mrs Janet Burton. A barrel of special beer was brewed and donated by Mr Glyn Creamer of Nene Valley Brewery, and Mr Geoff Creamer supplied reproductions of the original 1947 print.

The photograph was recreated and added a special touch to the event. [Reunion 15th July 1995]
